Cylinder head specifications: combustion chamber volume: 77 cc, intake runner volume: 188 cc, exhaust runner volume: 106 cc, intake valve diameter: 2.072 in., exhaust valve diameter: 1.68 in., valve stem diameter: 11/32 in., valve guides: manganese bronze, deck thickness: 5/8 in., valve spring diameter: 1.46 in., valve spring maximum lift: .575 in., rocker stud: 7/16 in., guideplate: hardended steel, pushrod diameter: 3/8 in., valve angle: 6 Deg., exhaust port location: stock, spark plug fitment: 14 mmx 3/4 reach, gasket seat. Installation note: head bolt holes drilled for stock 7/16 in. bolts, but can be easily modified for 1/2 in. bolts or studs by drilling the 1/2 in. counter bore. Aftermarket 7/16 in.-stud rocker arms & 3/8 in. hardened pushrods required. Will fit 350-403 olds w/ Edelbrock manifold #7111 only (port matching required). Match w/ Edelbrock head gasket sets. Recommended spark plugs are champion rc12yc or equivalent 14 mmx 3/4 in. reach w/ flat gasket seat. Deck thickness: 5/8 in., rocker stud diameter: 7/16 in., pushrod diameter: 3/8 in. (width of slot in guide plate). Designed for high-performance non-emission 1965-76 olds 400, 425 & 455 c.i.d. V8's. Eart shaped chamber for a more efficient burn, outstanding hp & torque. 60517 is not port matched or bowl blended & is nhra-accepted for super stock (except 1968-1969 w-30) only.
