This apparatus will stretch across your back window with tough 2-inch by 1-inch carbon steel tubes. The covering created by the incorporated louvers will also generate added privacy and cool shade. Every rack is finished with a rust-fighting high-gloss black powder coat.

Universal dimensions, available in three size options, ensure a guaranteed fit on most full-size pickups. To install, bolt the flat steel brackets onto your truck bed walls. This rack may interfere with rear-facing cameras and is not designed to support cargo loads. NAPA AUTO PARTS is proud to offer the Aries Classic Headache Rack with a Limited 3-Year Warranty.

Very easy to install. You certainly need an extra hand in mounting it although I was able to install it by myself. I was able to pull my truck into my shop where I have a one ton chain hoist. Simply rigged it up and raised it above the height of the truck bed and backed the truck under it. He only issue I had was the 13/32 inch bit for the holes in the bed. I had to increase the bit size.

This Aries part 111000 does is not a great match for the 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 6"7" bed . The holes nearest the window have no way to drill into the bed rail and attach a nut to the bolt. You have to move the whole rack back 1/2-1" to get it centered in the stud hole and then buy from BackRack the additional installation kit for $129.00 so you can put the L-bolt in the stud hole and tie into the bed. There is another option but I was not given an option to by the expandable kit that expands inside the stud hole. That option was not a great design.

Rack looks great on my 10 Dodge. Bought to mount lights. The driver side mounting bracket was welded on leaned in, had to bend it out to mount the rack to it, otherwise would have been 5 stars all the way!

I love the rack, but the brackets did not fit on my 2012 F150, I had new ones made locally, the manufacture or distributor, whoever handles packing them does a poor job, they are wrapped in thin 1/8" foam and thrown in a box. Mine came with dented fins, AAG.com rectified the situation and sent another. The first one came via UPS and the second came FEDEX and was in good shape despite poor packaging. Quality seems to be going down with the brown, this was not the first, second or third package I've received via UPS that was damaged. Would have given the product all 5 stars, but those brackets....not fitting... Price is right though.
