This is a well built hitch. The installation instructions could be better and unless you have a lift it is going to much more than the one hour stated installation time. I thought I was going to need to return it as there instruction did not reflect an issue I had and I called customer service without any help. I ended up troubleshooting this issue online and resolved the problem. This was installed on my 2023 Ram 1500 Laramie Here are the biggest issues: 1: The hitch is behind the front license plate. Because I am in NJ we are required to have a front plate but to use the hitch I will need to remove or relocate the front plate bracket. 2: If you look at the installation instructions it stated to cut a 2.5" X 2.5" hole in the front fascia which I did. However this does NOT give you any access to the pin hole. To access that I will need to either crawl under my truck each time I used the front hitch or cut a MUCH larger hole in the front fascia which will not look good. I just wish this was explained beforehand as I would have looked at different options. ALSO! If you purchase from NAPA and need to return the item you cannot return it to the store. The customer must pay return shipping of $50 and you are also charged a 15% restocking charge.

The installation was made easier by a 3rd party seller's installation video that was specific to this model. The included printed instructions were not great, especially when trying to understand the spacer for the rear bolt. That itself was problematic. The manufacturer should consider adding that to the frame as a welded piece or shaping the hitch differently to eliminate that part. The only way to get the spacers in is to use pry bars and another set of hands. Aside from the spacers, the install was simple and it looks nice. I opted to leave the air dam off (for now, at least) as it looks great without it. Would not recommend anyone getting this who does not have 4x4 or a leveling/lift kit to get this up higher.

The curt front hitch for my GMC 2500 was a perfect fit quality throughout the product and installation was easy and Napa had it for a great price and actually had it in stock where others did not. I will definitely buy from Napa again thank you
