Are you preparing for a weekend getaway or an outdoor adventure, but your gear just won’t fit? Are you anticipating a big move? Do you need to haul away garage clutter or yard waste? From compact cars to SUVs and crossovers, many vehicles don’t have a stock hitch to make these loads possible. The Curt Receiver Hitch is here to provide the support you need. Simply bolt on this tough aftermarket automotive accessory for a secure, flawless fit that will add to the style of your cherished vehicle.

The precise robotic welding generates maximum capacity and ideal performance. First, your hitch is submerged in a pre-finish using Aquence Technology (A-coat). Then, it's covered with a final powder coat, and cured to provide exceptional protection outside and inside. Engineered to create an open back for easy cleaning, your Receiver Hitch will not allow debris to collect or cause deterioration.

Customize your hitch by selecting either square tubes that hide the cross tube or predominant round tubes for a stylish flare. Pick the perfect fit for unmatched strength by matching your Curt Hitch to your specific make and model. The five weight classes are:

  • Class 1: Gross Trailer Weight (GTW) is 2,000 pounds; Tongue Weight (TW) is 200 pounds
  • Class 2 GTW is 3,500 pounds; TW is 300 pounds
  • Class 3: GTW is 3,500-6,000 pounds; TW is 350-600 pounds
  • Class 4-5: GTW is 6,000-12,000 pounds; TW is 600-1,200 pounds

NAPA AUTO PARTS is proud to offer the Curt Receiver Hitch, manufactured in the U.S., tested to SAE J684, and covered with a Lifetime Warranty.

Overall very easy install on a 25 CX-90 PHEV. It is quite heavy, I used a shop jack to hold it in place while installing the bolts. Dealing with the plastic bumper sections and clips was the most annoying part

Worked as intended on my 2023 Kia Niro EV. I needed to install the spacers that came with it. Also, don’t forget to disengage the backup sensor when you use it with a bike rack otherwise the car will come to a sudden stop.

The product was so poorly packaged by Curt, not NAPA’s fault. It came damaged and you may laugh looking at the pictures as rolls of bubble wrap were just laying in the box. Extremely sloppy. Wasted so much time trying to get a replacement and shipping the item back. In fact, I packed it better than I received it. Sad…

After watching online videos the install went as planned with no issues. Instructions said to trim driver side panel, but it wasn't necessary. Looks great... Like factory installed.

The packaging of the hitch was insufficient. One part penetrated the carton and was sticking out of the carton when received. FED EX photo confirned it. The hitch is heavy and very sturdy, so no damage other than scraped paint was the result. Installation was easy and the included spacers helped, one was needed. The instructions should include a paper showing how much of the cover in front of the bumper should be removed, a templet with other words. Without it you have to guess the approximate cut out , 4" X 21/2" did the trick. The hitch is very sturdy. looks and works fine.

There is only room for 2 bolts on one side, the other has 3. Have to lower the exhaust 4 bolts and force a rubber thing along 2 rods so a third rod that ends clears. Pretty tight getting the bolts into the threaded fasteners on the vehicle a box end ratcheting wrench 19mm or 3/4 would have been a bit easier if I had one. The actual hitch I am supposed to review was fine and has the 2" opening which for me is preferable to the tiny one. The bolt holes in the hitch are plenty big enough. Do not count on the wiring harness/kit coming in a timely manner if you order it from Mitsubishi is my problem now. The kick to open the tail door does not work now and kept going off during installation. Could not figure out where the sensor is.
