I reviewed the product yesterday with 1 stars. Low rating was mainly about the failed delivery by UPS. I haven't yet installed this Curt wiring harness but I did this exact item last year, different truck. Works great and relatively easy to install. Took me about 2 hours and that included all the other items that were attached to the 6 pole round connector. To just run the basic harness using the 4 pole should take 30-45 minutes BUT you have to get under the truck to run the wire and secure it along the frame.

Straight forward installation, fairly good instructions. A little time consuming but once it’s done, it’s done. Works well with the factory wiring harness. No cutting and splicing wires. Great solution for towing the 06 jeep wrangler.

Very easy install. Tested briefly and everything works exactly as it should. The plug & play is much better than the alternative of cutting and splicing factory wires. Have not tested it on the road yet.

Following the included instructions, I disconnected the plugs on the driver and passenger sides and inserted the plugs on the Curt wiring harness on my Ford Ranger. I also attached the ground. Then I plugged the 4-pin into my other pickup truck (simulated how I would plug it into my motorhome). All the lights seem to work, except that the amber turn signal didn't flash, the red taillight/brake light flashed instead. I could almost live with this. The main problem I had (and the reason for the low rating) is that when I disconnected the 4-pin from my pickup truck, the brake lights didn't work on the Ranger (the vehicle that has the harness installed). Actually, the brake light would work the first time I pressed the brake pedal, but wouldn't work after the first time. I disconnect the battery and reconnected and then the brakes worked. (Although, now the auto down on the drivers' window doesn't work). Not sure if I will use the harness or just a set of magnet base lights instead.
