I really thought I would love these running boards based on some of the reviews and pics. I found them to be really heavy and the bracket designs were thick and hang down 2 inches past the bottom of the boards. I was also displeased that they stick out from the side of the truck almost 2 inches leaving an awkward gap. By not being able to close the gap this causes them to stick out past your tires 2 inches which looks odd and could have the potential to catch on things. You can't slide the boards any closer or they will fall off the back of the bracket mount, so you're stuck with the gap. My boards were also delivered with several holes in the box and after inspection one of the boards underside was scratched and slightly dented. After unwrapping I noticed multiple areas of the boards had paint missing from them which was apparent was a quality control issue and not damage since they were wrapped in plastic wrap. I touched up the spots and went ahead and mounted them since I didn't want the hassle of shipping back and exchanging. In the end, I was very displeased with the made in America quality of Go Rhino when some of the foreign brands are lighter, cheaper, and brackets were engineering slimmer. I've also noticed that I've lost a mile on my mpg's since installing these boards which is probably caused by the drag of the large thick brackets hanging down and how far the boards stick out.
