This would have taken me a maximum of 30 minutes to install with better instructions. Honestly, if i had to install another one it would probably take no more than 15 minutes...but I had to install this one about 3 times because I missinterpretted the instructions a couple of times. That was annoying. The cover is really nice, it looks great on the truck, it operatates as advertised, and it's sturdy. I'd highly recommend buying this cover and I'd recommend installing it yourself to save some money. Just watch a YouTube video rather than reading the instructions.

This was the first bed cover I have bought or installed. The install video was very helpful. The instructions were not. Took my time, easy to install. Love the look of it. Waiting for the next rain storm to test how good the seal is.

The install is not hard. Most of the time was making sure the clamps are straight and tight. All parts and pieces were accounted for from the box. Overall I’m happy with the install and the look.

This is my second Leer hard folding tonneau cover. This has plenty of features I like. I like that the cover can be folded all the way up and driven with prop rods. I'm glad the 3rd brake light is visible when folded. It has a very slim profile which is good for aesthetics. Unfortunately to get the tabs to lock in place my cover has to be slightly off square, and this is why I am giving it a 4 overall. Most people would never notice this but because I installed it, I do. I'm sure others won't have this issue so I recommend this product.

Quality and appearance of this tonneau are excellent. Took my time on the install to ensure getting it right but packaging and parts were very easy to work through and instructions/video were easy to understand. Added bonus…didn’t realize the cover came with the Ford badges which make it a nice complement to my F-150! Very pleased.

I tried to put this on a GMC Sierra 2500, standard bed. The NAPA website said it fit, the Leer website said it fit. It didn't fit. First the length is about .5 to 1 inch too short. I cheated the front so the back would cover the tailgate, however I could see daylight on both ends so I belive it would leak. This cover latches in 3 spots, I could only get 2 of the 3 latched at the same time. I worried after driving I would have to "adjust it every time. Finally the GMC kit includes clamps for the rail that fit in the stack hole. On the driver's side there is a foldable handle that comes standard on my trim level that prevents you from using the stack hole for the clamp. The instructions show 4 clamps to support the rail. Since you can't use the GMC kit clamp only 3 clamps support the rail on the driver's side. So far NAPA has been great to work with getting it returned. I was happy with the quality and look of the cover had it fit my truck.

I love the design of the product - but the rubber seals on the sides of cover came with about 1/2 cut in them in a number places on the left side. The manufacturer (Leer) sent me a new cover. This second cover was even worse. Whereas the prior cover had small cuts that may have caused failure in the future, the second had fewer, even larger cuts in them around on the left side near the joints - these would surely fail. Now I have to go back to Leer again and find out what to do. I'm not sure I'm willing to go for a 3rd try. They seem to have a quality control issue in manufacturing OR these rubber seals are to rigid to be kept bent during storage and shipping.

Very nice cover and fits our 2023 short bed F 150 well. My husband is blind, so I had to do the installation while he helped with the muscle to put the cover on and tighten some of the clamps. The printed instructions were sparse and not very clear. The Utube video showed the installation, but the clamps weren’t all the same as the ones we had - so it made it very confusing for someone who had never installed a tonneau cover before. Getting it adjusted properly also took some time.

I looked at all of the flip type bed covers, and chose the Leer because of the quality - particularly the latching mechanism. I had owned another similar brand of bed cover that I had swapped over to three trucks over the years, but the weak point was the latches and mounting 'cross tubes'. I am very pleased with the Leer and would buy it again.
