The MSD 6ALN Ignition Control delivers capacitive discharge multiple sparks with 110 millijoules of energy per spark up to 15,000 RPM and continues firing multiple sparks through 20 degrees of crankshaft rotation for strong, consistent combustion. Designed for 12 to 18 volt systems, it produces 470 primary volts to the coil and includes a built-in Soft Touch Rev Control that helps prevent engine damage from missed shifts or driveline failure, adjustable with supplied 3,000, 6,000, 7,000, and 8,000 RPM modules. The circuit board is encased in a clear two-part silicone elastomer and mounted within a durable cast aluminum housing for exceptional vibration resistance, while a clear plastic base plate simplifies tech inspection.
