This combination delivers full spark energy up to 9,000 RPM while enhancing dwell consistency and timing accuracy. The centrifugal advance assembly is TIG welded to the distributor shaft and incorporates staked and welded weight pins, nylon guide pads for smooth movement, and fine blanked chrome moly steel weights and advance plate treated with a QPQ coating to minimize friction. Included are three spring sets and four stop bushings, allowing up to 24 potential timing curve combinations. For racing applications, the mechanical advance can be locked out, and the vacuum advance canister may also be disabled if desired.
