This distributor features a CNC-machined billet aluminum housing for added strength and stability under harsh conditions. A large-diameter Ford-style cap helps minimize spark scatter and fastens securely in place, while the billet reluctor and magnetic pickup provide accurate trigger signals. Both the pickup and reluctor are coated in parylene to resist corrosion, and a weather-sealed connector protects and secures the wiring. An adjustable slip collar allows for accurate fitment on engines with modified blocks or intake manifolds. The distributor includes the cap and rotor, utilizes a bronze gear, and requires the use of an external ignition box; an ignition coil is not included. It is designed for 1972–1997 Ford V8 engines, including 255, 302, 351, 400, and 460 cubic inch applications. This component is intended for Racing Use Only Vehicles.
