Its integrated ignition module delivers a 7.5 amp single spark across the RPM range to promote efficient combustion, quicker starts, and smooth engine operation. A maintenance free magnetic pickup and precision reluctor generate stable trigger signals, while a polished steel shaft with QPQ coating rides on a sealed ball bearing for added durability and stability.
The CNC machined billet aluminum housing and base are approximately 5/8 inch smaller in diameter than stock Ford units, providing additional clearance for tight engine bays and aftermarket intake combinations. It is supplied with a small diameter cap featuring HEI style terminals and a race rotor compatible with the 8441 Cap A Dapt. Mechanical advance adjustments are easily made using the included springs and stop bushings to fine tune the timing curve.
