This switch is offered in two versions to suit different needs. The RPM Activated Switch (PN 8950) includes two output leads—one designed to ground a circuit and another to interrupt a circuit. After installing the appropriate RPM module and integrating the switch into the selected circuit, activation occurs when the engine reaches the chosen RPM and remains active until engine speed drops below that setting. The RPM Window Switch (PN 8956) allows users to define both an activation RPM and a shutoff RPM within a specified range, making it particularly useful for applications such as disabling nitrous before reaching the rev limiter. Both models are compatible with factory inductive ignition systems as well as MSD Ignition controls, support 4-, 6-, and 8-cylinder engines, and are rated to handle up to 1.5 amps.
