The MSD Ultra 6AL Plus Ignition Control Box is a digital capacitive discharge, multi spark ignition system capable of producing up to 45000 volts with consistent spark energy ranging from 135mJ to 150mJ throughout the RPM range. A built in tri step RPM limiter manages launch, burnout, and maximum race RPM settings, adjustable via rotary dials or through the MSD Ultra 6AL app, with Bluetooth functionality supported only within the USA and Canada. It also features programmable step retard with adjustable on ramp time, off delay, off ramp time, and RPM activation points, plus selectable start retard settings of 0, 10, or 20 degrees and up to 35 degrees of maximum programmable retard. An internal 4 BAR sensor enables boost based timing control up to 400 kPA, and users can create timing curves in 2D plots or 3D tables through the mobile app or MSDView software using the integrated USB connection. Compatible with 4, 6, and 8 cylinder engines, the unit works with points, magnetic pickup, Hall effect, or crank trigger distributors, operates on most 7 to 28 volt electrical systems, and supports engine speeds up to 15000 RPM at 14.4 volts.
