Needed a rack that would accomidate my Bakflip cover. This looked like a good option(after watching some Youtube videos). Installed this on a 2017 Silverado 1500 Standard bed(6'7"). The rail kit for my truckbed is about 5" short, leaves about 2 3/8" on both side when installed(you have to center the rail. Proabably should have order the full size and just cut it short to fit. Took longer than expected as I was trying to get the lip that sits on the bed rail to sit flush, but it leave a little gap(1/8"), nothing major. After putting on the Elevate rack, it pushes it flush. They provide you with a seal to use, to put on your bed cover rail, so it seals it when pressed against the TS rail. Using this, made putting my Bakflip back on really tight. I had no issues with water leaks with just th Bakflip installed an no seal against the side railing, so probably didn't need this. It was a snug fit for sure putting it back on. Only issue is that it raises your tonneau cover, so there is a now a gap at the tailgate. Pro: All parts are included. Quality parts(feels sturdy enough) 3 Height Adjustments Easy instructions to follow Looks nice and can be used with folding tonneau covers Cons: TS rail should be the full lenght of the bed, so you don't need to use filler weather strips to fill the gaps(imo). Raises the Tonneau cover so original seal is no longer functional. Leaves about 1/4" gap at the tailgate.
