The Thermo-Tec Cool-It Mat consists of resin-bonded silica insulation layered between a reflective FSK (Foil Skrim Kraft) facing and a foil backing, offering both vapor and radiant heat barriers. Its dual-density silica core provides excellent sound insulation, minimizing road and engine noise. Available in three sizes, including a 50-foot roll and about 1/2 inch thickness, it installs easily using push-in fasteners or weather strip adhesive, making it suitable for firewalls, floorboards, doors, hoods, and transmission housings.
