TruXedo Sentry CT Tonneau Cover

I had a lot of trouble with the installation primarily because I started with the printed instructions which have you mount the brackets to the rails, then mount the rail assembly to the truck. I was unable to get the cover to fit properly and aligning the holes was difficult. I later referred to an installation video which described a different approach where the brackets are first mounted to the truck and then the rail to the brackets. I had also missed a key detail that showed how the rail flange needed to fit over the sides of the bed. Putting the brackets on the truck first worked much better and I got everything to fit. My biggest complaint is the quality of the aluminum brackets. They had very sharp edges and with the struggle required to get everything to fit I ended up with several annoying razor-like cuts on my hands. The manufacturer obviously dispensed with removing burrs and sharp edges when cutting the brackets. Be careful; sand or file down the edges or wear gloves. The cover itself appears to be well made and looks nice on the truck. It seems to be quite sturdy. Haven't had a chance to see how it does in the rain but I'm not expecting it to be watertight. I do find that I need to open the top to get the tail gate closed but suspect that may change once things have settled in.

The cover itself is very nice and it's the second one I've put on a truck. This time it was beyond difficult getting the roller to fit into the tracks on my 25 honda ridgeline. It took two of us to get the brackets positioned and we used extra washers to make it work. The hardware that came with it was complete junk and I had to replace. I would definitely not recommend this cover for the ridgeline.
