This crankcase breather repair kit directly replaces the crankcase breather element on specific vehicles. The separator can fail on its own, either by clogging, cracking, or having a separator bearing fail from age and wear, which is indicated by noise and vibration. Excessive oil mist from the gas outlet can also be a failed separator symptom.
