The LifeGuard Guide Table keeps the sleeving in the correct, slightly open position which allows for proper cutting. The LifeGuard sleeving system is designed to protect operators, equipment and the environment from the hazards of catastrophic hydraulic hose failure – a level of protection previously unavailable. The sleeve will contain bursts up to 10,000 psi and pinhole leaks up to 5,000 psi at 212 Deg. F (100 Deg. C) for up to five minutes. After redirecting the explosive force down the length of the hose, the LifeGuard sleeve disperses the energy and fluids at the hose ends via carefully designed “channel” clamps. The leaked fluid then allows for fast hose failure detection.
