Mobilube HD Plus Gear Oil is an extra high-performance gear lubricant formulated for on-highway light- and heavy-duty trucks, buses, vans and cars. Mobillube HD Plus has a wide multi-purpose capability to reduce the number of gear lubricants needed, simplify inventory, and minimize misapplication. Helps to provide good protection against low speed/high torque wear and against high speed scoring, as well as excellent rust, staining and corrosion protection to help foster longer component life. Has excellent thermal stability and resistance to high temperature oxidation and effective low-temperature lubrication for reduced wear and ease of start-up. HD Plus geal oil is compatible with typical automotive seals and gaskets and has a good resistance to foaming. Recommended for heavy-duty manual transmissions, axles, and final drives requiring API GL-5 gear oil and MT-1 level performance. Please note: Not recommended for applications requiring API GL-4 level performance or for transmissions for which engine oil or automatic transmission fluids are recommended.
