NAPA Extended Life Orange Dex-Cool Compatible Antifreeze & Coolant is specifically developed for General Motors (GM) manufactured cars and trucks that require Dex-Cool Coolant for the engine to run. In addition to regulating engine temperature, this orange antifreeze coolant inhibits corrosion within the cooling system. Its long-lasting inhibitors form a protective layer on metal parts, preventing rust and extending the life of your radiator, water pump and other components.
Premixed with a 50% concentration of ethylene glycol base and 50% deionized water, NAPA 50/50 prediluted antifreeze and coolant eliminates the need for any guesswork or measuring when adding it to your vehicle. By raising the boiling point and lowering the freezing point of the water within the cooling system, this precise predilution ensures optimal freeze and overheat protection, safeguarding your engine in both extreme cold and scorching heat.
This option is not only compatible with Dex-Cool coolant, but also newer Ford models requiring Motorcraft specialty orange coolant, as well as cars, light-duty trucks and motorcycles with aluminum radiators.
