Thread - Pipe Sealant Henkel 1 PT Loctite Joint Compound

Loctite 5117 is a dark brown, non-hardening, brushable liquid thread sealant designed for general-purpose locking and sealing of metal threaded pipes and fittings. It is ideal for water pipes and can also be used on lines carrying alkalis (10%), ethylene glycol, petroleum, and lubricating oil. The sealant operates effectively within a temperature range of -65°F to +400°F (-54°C to +204°C). Packaged in a 1-pint can, it ensures complete contact between threads for a reliable seal and replaces the need for tapes and pastes.
