Loctite 262 is a high-strength, red threadlocker for permanently locking and sealing threaded fasteners up to 3/4 inch (20 mm) in diameter. It is ideal for applications subject to heavy shock, vibration, or extreme chemical and environmental conditions. This oil-tolerant adhesive works on all metals, including passive substrates like stainless steel, aluminum, and plated surfaces. Disassembly typically requires localized heating and hand tools. Available in a 36 ml bottle.
