ODYSSEY - ODYSSEY Extreme Series Battery

The ODYSSEY Extreme Series Battery provides both superior starting power and substantial deep-cycle performance. With two times the overall power and triple the service life of other batteries, ODYSSEY Extreme Batteries provide ample power for engine-cranking pulses (more than 2250 amps for 5 seconds), even at very low temperatures. They are crafted to take on 400 charge-discharge cycles to 80% depth of discharge.

These automotive batteries are quality built, start to finish, and it shows. Where most companies use lead alloy in the construction of their flat plates, ODYSSEY uses 99% pure lead. Because lead plates can be thinner, a higher number of plates fit in the battery housing. The increased plate surface area means two times the power of conventional batteries.
