With two times the overall power and triple the service life of other batteries, ODYSSEY Extreme Batteries provide ample power for engine-cranking pulses (more than 2250 amps for 5 seconds), even at very low temperatures. They are crafted to take on 400 charge-discharge cycles to 80% depth of discharge.

Because lead plates can be thinner, a higher number of plates fit in the battery housing. The increased plate surface area means two times the power of conventional batteries.
