A hot melt adhesive combines with shrink tubing to make a strong, water-resistant connection. The shrinking ratio of these connectors is 2:1, and their working temperature is 131-257° F (55-125° C). Shrinking starts at 176° F (80° C), and the solder within these connectors dissolves at 280° F (138° C).
