The 956 Heavy Duty Series is our most robust series of Ignition Switches, providing reliable circuit control for vehicle ignition.


  • Ignition-proof, meeting SAE J259 standards
  • The key is removable only in the "Off" position where applicable
  • Features five screw terminals, a ground terminal, and a 1"-24 bushing
  • Coded lock and keys with a gasket-sealed shutter lock seal and an O-ring stem seal
  • Supports the following currents: 10A for Accessory, 10A for Ignition, 5A for Start, and 1A for Ground
  • Off-Ignition/Accessory-Ignition/Start operation with a spring return to Ignition/Accessory, rated for 12V DC
