Bilstein 4600 Series Shock Absorbers & Struts

Purchased for my 2013 Ford F-150 XLT 4WD, no modifications to suspension. Replaced factory shocks with the 33-187419, B6 4600. Installed with truck sitting on level surface, no jacks needed. Removal of old and installation of Bilstein was straightforward. The only slight adjustment needed was the compression of new shock in order to align hole for reinstalling bolt. That can be done by pry bar from the top. I definitely noticed the ride improvement was restored to a factory feel if not slightly better. I had the front quick strut assembly replaced with a different brand since Bilstein only makes the strut not quick strut assembly for this year, make and model. Definitely recommend based on my short usage. I have put 20 miles on them since installation.

This is the second set of Bilstein shocks I’ve installed. Running them on my 2011 FJ Cruiser and my 2021 F350 Super Duty. Quality product with a good ride.

2015 RAV4, rear shocks replaced. The ride is better than expected, better than factory before shocks were blown. Will be replacing the front pair soon, only because the ride quality improved drastically with the rear pair.
