  • Class 1: Gross Trailer Weight (GTW) is 2,000 pounds; Tongue Weight (TW) is 200 pounds
  • Class 2 GTW is 3,500 pounds; TW is 300 pounds
  • Class 3: GTW is 3,500-6,000 pounds; TW is 350-600 pounds

Well made hitch but parts did not totally line up 2022 cherokee toy have remove frame body bolts to install and not all the body bolts fit back through hitch. Got two in in each side.....you have to drop the muffler to install. That's was easy to do.

My boyfriend and I installed this ourselves. We had a bit of issues at times, but we weren’t naive to think it was going to be a smooth process through and through as we both have never done an install like this on a vehicle. Overall it took us less time than anticipated, about 90 minutes. The instructions that came with it certainly helped out. We hauled our Jon Boat the other day and I am very pleased with the performance. Would recommend to my friends this hitch, but of course that would match up with their own vehicles.

Installing the actual hitch wasn't difficult. Removing the muffler was harder and more time consuming. If you need to install a wiring kit also, do that first, then the hitch, then muffler reinstall. The wiring is hard to route over the hitch if it is installed first. No maneuvering room. I would have given it a 5 star except the 2" receiver opening is a little big for the hitch ball mount (it may be a better fit is the ball mount is also made by CURT). It fits loosely and rattles when going down the road without load.

The hitch will work fine. The packaging was very bad as in nothing to keep it from moving all over the box and busting through it. The hitch had several deep gouges that I believe will cause it to rust quickly. It did install fine just took me a little longer because of some minor issues.

Went on relatively easy, on a hoist. Slight trimming of exhaust trim was required to install but unnecessary once installed? Maybe rear up first may have worked but seemed harder to do.
