I had a similar lid in my 2017 Tacoma. I was happy to find the Pop & Lock safe lid for my 2024. This one was super easy to install and took less than an hour. Combination was easy to set and I do recommend it highly.

My truck is a 2000 Dakota. Dodge did not manufacture this model with a tailgate lock (according to the dealer). I just put a new tonneau on the vehicle and needed to be able to lock the tailgate. Pop & Lock was one of 2 products that I could find for a vehicle this old. I installed it in about 20 minutes. It fit pretty well and functions properly. The tailgate handle doesn't seat quite as far into the bezel now, but it's a small amount and amount and not an issue for me. I'm quite happy with it.

Not as quick and easy as described. Required modifications to get it installed-the bolt holes are to small. As instructed the wires are not long enough- it required a hole to be drilled in the bottom of the tailgate for the wires to reach. Functioned correctly when install was completed.
